Happy Valentine’s Day!
I’ve been a little quiet lately because I got contracted for a run at the theatre for this month - it came up only a couple days before the show started, and I’ve struggled to keep up with my regular routine since then.
In the very few free moments I’ve had I tried working toward finishing up this single I worked on for most of last month for the Holly Frost project, which I was really hoping I would be able to get distributed in time for Valentine’s Day. Alas, that plan did not pan out.
This is truly not finished… I’m still in the mixing process and need to tweak a few things before running a proper mastering session for it (so I’m looking at at least another 4-6 hours before I can officially call this “done” and set it for distribution…
However, I really wanted to get you something special today to let you know I was thinking about you and that I have been trying hard to get some of these public deliverables done. So I decided to just bounce a rough mix from where I was in the process for you to listen to!
I hope you love it and that it might provide a nice secret soundtrack to a romantic day for you…
Crooner Coffee Hours are still holding despite my slightly crazy current schedule, so hopefully I will see some of you on Friday. A brand-new original song will be delivered to you over the coming days, and then we’ll have our monthly Vault meet-up next week, on Tuesday, Feb 20 at 3pm EST.
