Schedule Update!
February Debut Night
Postponed
Here’s the TLDR:
1) February Debut Night will be postponed, with the new time scheduled for March 1st. (So no stream tonight! 😥)
2) Final Crooner Coffee Hour party (originally scheduled for 2/24) is also postponed. I'll have to take a little break from it for the next couple weeks, but we'll do our final celebration on March 10. (No CCH from now until then.)
3) Disney Night for 2/27 is not canceled yet, but is on the chopping block. (It will depend how much I can get done between now and Monday.)
4) The cover song is coming! And, god willing, will be delivered by the end of the month still, February 28. ❤️

OK so here’s what happened this time…
Two things happened yesterday that threw off the already-breakneck-pace of trying to fit everything in: (1) a new unexpected deadline for a huge task fell into my lap and I only have about a week to take care of it, and (2) we discovered the drums we recorded for this month's cover song (originally scheduled for submission today) need to be retracked.
Managing our schedules and how we're going to do all the things is a big job that I'm sort of in charge of, and with which we wrangle regularly: we're both gigging musicians with inconsistent work schedules, one with a day job that typically takes up normal working hours, we share a car, and, when it comes to recording, we have to work around practical limitations like not being able to play drums too early or too late - so that gives us a really narrow window of only about 2 hours per day on weekdays for drums.
That means that now I won't be able to finish up and submit the cover song today, which also means Debut Night needs to be postponed as well, because, otherwise, there will be not much to... debut. I'd rather have a big hootenanny next Wednesday once you've heard the recording and we can properly celebrate.
With gigs and other deadlines and commitments looming, I want to make sure there's enough time to retrack the drums and get all my overdubs, etc done and edited so I can turn it in to you as well as submit for public release before the end of the month. So I think I can feasibly get the song done and submitted by Feb 28, so we can celebrate on March 1.
Being strapped for time lately also means that my preparation for the big Crooner Coffee Hour finale party (originally scheduled for 2/24) has also had to go on the back burner. I need time back from Friday mornings in general which is why we were going to say "sayonara" to that particular weekly broadcast, so to alleviate my current predicament, I'd like to take a break from CCH for the next two weeks and then have the CCH 5th Anniversary party on March 10.
I am feeling a little defeated and and a lot overwhelmed/disappointed, but at least with these triage steps I am optimistic that what should get done can and will, despite the curveballs.

General Info about the Monthly Concerts:
Each month, Keyholders have access to a special evening livestream that is different in format from the free livestreams that happen the rest of the month online.
Keyholder concerts typically include the live debut of that month’s newest original song(s), cover songs, other releases, plus updates and polls about what should happen next. Sometimes they have a special theme, or a featured guest.
They are administered through a Private YouTube Live link that is distributed to active Keyholders each month through announcement and reminder posts/emails, and will also be available from The Vault in the monthly concert tab.
In order to comment in the chat during the live event, you will need a YouTube account. You do not, however, need a YouTube account just to watch the event.
If you’re a member of our community forum and opt-in to Vault notifications, you’ll also receive push notifications on the day of the event (an early one to remind, one a little before we start, and once we’re live, usually).
