“Every Little Hand”
*New Song!* - April ‘21
This month’s song was based on a prompt submitted by Patrons Dexter & Wanda, which was "in the bag."
Because a bunch of you gathered together and secretly surprised me with some funding I needed to upgrade my computer, I’m able to do software-styling looping live on-stream! Since I wanted to dig into it a bit and get my feet wet using this new-for-me method, I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to work up a new moorhaunter track. I wish I could have spent more time on the production of it, but if it’s going to be part of the live show, I’ll have plenty of time to iterate and add things to this.
Since I’m re-learning this DAW, it’s not the best-sounding demo… and since it’s a looping song, this recording is just all in one live take. I wasn’t expecting much from this tune while I was writing it, but I have a feeling this one is going to be an earworm (at least for me)!
