Keyholder Concert & more…
Greetings, friends!
Firstly, this is a reminder that our monthly concert is tomorrow night, 2/22! Because this is the month of sappy love songs, I thought I'd select my faves that fit into that category from my original catalogue. Does one come to mind for you that you particularly love? Let me know in the comments and I'll see if I can fit it in!
Secondly, this is also a reminder that TONIGHT we recommence Disney Day! If this sounds unfamiliar to you: I take to Twitch on Monday evenings, perform all vintage Disney songs by request, and using technological magic "insert" myself in an old TV set complete with background art from the film that corresponds to the current song. It is SO fun and it's been almost two months since we've done it because of my little break.
Thirdly, this week, on Friday, we'll be starting Crooner Coffee Hour (our Friday morning Facebook Live show). Incidentally, this Friday marks the 4th anniversary of Crooner Coffee Hour - I didn't quite have the bandwidth to put together a big celebration like last year (I think it will make the 5th anniversary even more special though), but I sure would love to see you there where it all began if you'd like to join us.
Tiny TED Talk Theatre in NYC
Update from my side of the screen: There was a big Valentine's weekend event here in Austin on the 12th, and then I was away last week in NYC for a special event - in fact, I performed for a very small, 4-speaker business-themed TED Talk in a tiny TED theatre at a huge business office in SoHo last Thursday. It was filmed in front of a small audience which included my husband, Eduardo, and the friend that introduced us, Gavin Castleton. It will air I believe on March 2 and I will definitely send you a link when I get one.
After our wedding, Ed and I really didn't have as much of a honeymoon as we should have planned for, so it was lovely to get out of town again for a second and spend some quality time together having an adventure. The work event was a very cool experience, and we also each got to catch up and spend time with childhood friends, share amazing food, and be enchanted by that rough and tumble yet spectacular city. Coincidentally, my (Californian) father and his family were on a trip there that overlapped with ours by one day, so we were able to have lunch with them and catch up before heading home, even!

I’ve also updated the calendar for March with ALL THE THINGS we’ll have going on. The moorhaunter channel still has not reached affiliate, so I’ll have to double-down on that and keep going. The front of the month will be stream-heavy, and then I’ll be out of town visiting some family and… recuperating from all the streaming 🤣

General Info about the Monthly Concerts:
Each month, Keyholders have access to a special evening livestream that is different in format from the free livestreams that happen the rest of the month online.
Keyholder concerts typically include the live debut of that month’s newest original song, some special theme, or a featured guest.
These concerts will typically take place on the second-to-last Tuesday of each month in 2022, with a few exceptions. All currently scheduled dates for the year are listed on the calendar.
These concerts are administered through a Private YouTube Live link that is distributed to active Keyholders each month through announcement and reminder posts/emails, and are also available from The Vault in the monthly concert tab.
In order to comment in the chat during the live event, you will need a YouTube account. You do not, however, need a YouTube account just to watch the event.
To watch the event, simply click the link (or come to this page for the video embed) and tune in around the start time of the show!
Occasionally these special event concerts are open to the public with single-use ticket admission available for purchase at the Lex Land Store. Because these events are exclusive to Keyholders (and ticketholders), I kindly request you do not share these private event links around the web - but please feel free to watch with your loved ones.
Tips/donations are not at all expected or required during these events, since these concerts are an extra “thank-you” from me for your monthly support.
