Love Songs for the Lovelorn
This month’s Keyholder Concert (Vault-exclusive evening livestream) is happening tonight!
When considering the kind of program I wanted to put together for our annual LOVE SONG Vault Concert this year, and thus while browsing my seemingly endless catalogue, I was reminded of some old gems of tunes that I’ve been meaning to review and make charts for so that I can play them for and share with you on-stream, but just have never had a good reason to get around to them.
You know how much I love to try to to double-up purposes of work I do. SO! Tonight I’ll be presenting a set of love songs, some of which you have heard, but others you have likely not, or heard very infrequently. I’m pulling some from deeeeep in my archival stack, including a couple that I wrote during the Orange Days period and a few that happened in that space between Reveal Itself being recorded but not yet released.
These will span the different projects, Lex Land, One Big Dark Room, and moorhaunter - but they’ll all be guitar-based. All love songs in one set, non-project specific, covering different shades of the love “topic wheel,” but mostly they are about having absolutely hopeless crushes that will never be reciprocated (plus a few of my favorite lovey-dovey Lex Land tunes from this past 30S30D).
This does mean, unfortunately, that I won’t be premiering this month’s new song tonight - it is forthcoming. However I don’t think you’ll miss it since there will be quite a few “new-to-you” at any rate. I’m very much looking forward to sharing them with you and hearing what you think of them.

General Info about the Monthly Concerts:
Each month, Keyholders have access to a special evening livestream that is different in format from the free livestreams that happen the rest of the month online.
Keyholder concerts typically include the live debut of that month’s newest original song, some special theme, or a featured guest.
These concerts will mostly take place on the second-to-last Tuesday of each month in 2022, with a few exceptions. All the dates for 2022 have been posted in your monthly concert tab, on your VAULT Homepage, and the Lex Land event calendar.
They are administered through a Private YouTube Live link that is distributed to active Keyholders each month through announcement and reminder posts/emails, and will also be available from The Vault in the monthly concert tab.
In order to comment in the chat during the live event, you will need a YouTube account. You do not, however, need a YouTube account just to watch the event.
If you’re a member of our community forum and opt-in to Vault notifications, you’ll also receive push notifications on the day of the event (an early one to remind, one a little before we start, and once we’re live, usually).
To watch the event, simply click this link (or come to this page for the video embed) and tune in around the start time of the show!
Other Notes:
Occasionally these special event concerts are open to the public with single-use ticket admission available for purchase at the Lex Land Store. Because these events are exclusive to Keyholders (and ticketholders), I kindly request you do not share these private event links around the web - but please feel free to watch with your loved ones.
Tips/donations are not at all expected or required during these events, since these concerts are an extra “thank-you” from me for your monthly support.
