Surprise! Here’s a little wild card for ya.
I created this arrangement of The Pretenders’ “Don’t Get Me Wrong” for our recent live-in-person event at the Moody Theatre here in Austin, TX. It was actually quite a challenge to turn this into a Bossa Nova because of the phrasing and the song form, but I finally landed on this and am pretty proud of it.
As a bonus, I also performed my original song, “Safe and Sound” (from 2020’s 7 Songs in 7 Days), and I’m including that for you here as well to check out!
