7S7D D2: “Silver Lining”
7 songs 7 days, Day TWO! prompt for this was "hold so dear."
I think this has some potential - it's good bones for a Moorhaunter track I think. As I mentioned in the previous post, I've had the melody stuck in my head for a few days but wanted to develop it a little bit. My production skills are kinda wack, certainly at this level of demo, but with some actual work done on it it could be cool.
I'd also really like to spend more time on the lyrics but I really felt the pressure of time for this midnight deadline on this one tonight! Also this will be an interesting one to figure out how to perform for the live concert this coming Monday for you guys!
My idea for the narrative of this song, was to attempt to tell the story of someone either coming up on a bad drug trip while out in public or falling into an episode of hysteria/mania... or both... I definitely have no personal experience in any of these scenarios... (?) 😬
