Hello December!
The latest:
I’m still in the trenches of trying to get future releases recorded and future-related-social-content batched, but I’m super proud of the progress I’ve made and am super excited for the new year to come.
November Recap:
While I haven’t historically nailed it 100%, I try to get at least one holiday song penned during the November/December period each year. I managed to get one in last month with It’s Still Fall, a music-theatre-y “but-what-if-Judy-Garland-sang-it?”-ballad about the changeover of a season (including a prompt from patron Nakia).
Perhaps even more momentous: just in the nick of time I got a fresh holiday song ready for public release and it became available on streaming services on Thanksgiving Day!
Too Many to Count is a gratitude-themed song I wrote during 2021’s 30 Songs in 30 Days, and I am really proud of this Gene-Autry-inspired fully-produced version I was able to create with only a tiny bit of help from my Beloved husband (on snare drum).

The plan for this month:
While I learned A LOT working on this last release, it definitely took too long. Now my objective is to continue working on getting ahead on releases for 2024, but to also speed up my workflow in doing so. Recordings are definitely still the priority, but once I get my legs under me with a good batch, things will get a little easier and I’ll be able to add other activities back into the routine.
Event + Broadcast Schedule:
This month’s Vault Event is scheduled for December 19, and there I will do live-premieres of any new stuff, catch you up on the latest progress, and get some feedback from you for future projects. The link is available for you at the concert tab in the menu.
Disney-song broadcasts are on a continued hiatus, and will likely return in the new year.
Crooner Coffee Hour (Holiday Edition!) returns - from now until December 22.

Our final One Big Dark Room livestream event of the year will take place on TUESDAY December 12 at 3PM EST (these are normally on Wednesdays but there was a scheduling conflict 🙁)
