Hello February!
I was in here (The Vault) doing some other work and realized that not only had I never done a “Hello February” post, but that I had completely forgotten about even needing to do it. So here we go!
The latest:
So far I’m pretty much keeping up with what I was hoping to accomplish as far as content goes. Admin/backlog-catchup: not so much. But hoping that the trend of not being behind on current things (present post excluded) might even become being *ahead* (wouldn’t that be nice for once?), freeing up more time to get to the backlog of things… Patreon-post-migration included.
You should be seeing a new song post soon, and if all goes according to plan, another cover song release will be coming at you soon as well. Of course, you received a cover song last month which will also be publicly released this month (Feb 24).
Had a rough start last night with getting the first Mouseketeer Monday back on Twitch, but we still had a good time. Hopefully it will start to go a little more smoothly once more of the reset has been completed.
There will be another return to Twitch, this time for the One Big Dark Room channel, tomorrow at 8PM ET.
January Recap:
January went pretty well, with a cover song for the Lex Land project released to you a month early, and public distribution set for February 24th (Aren’t We All?).
I also submitted a new song entitled “Old College Try” (again for the Lex Land project) including a prompt from Keyholder Joe L.
Event + Broadcast Schedule:
It shouldn’t come as a big surprise, but after we celebrate the 5th anniversary of Crooner Coffee Hour on February 24, I’ll be retiring that “program” for the foreseeable future. Perhaps we will see limited “seasons” of Crooner Coffee Hour on FB/YouTube again someday, so we can call this the conclusion of Season 1.
Come join me for the big party and for a farewell to CCH at 11:30AM ET on 2/24. Like the third anniversary event, I intend to give away some prizes and do some other fun things (though I still have quite a bit of project planning and organizing to do for that).

Mouseketeer Monday has returned, for recurring broadcasts every Monday night at 8p ET on Twitch on the Lex Land channel.
One Big Dark Room on Twitch returns tomorrow, 2/8, for recurring monthly events (for now) every second Wednesday of the month on the One Big Dark Room channel.
Moorhaunter will come back eventually, but I’m not sure when. At the rate things are currently going, I suspect not earlier than May.
The first five years and first (possibly final?) “season” of Crooner Coffee Hour concludes on February 24.
Our new monthly Vault-exclusive broadcast-event, “Debut Night,” will continue with the second installment on February 22 (again, 8pET) - I’ll do live-premieres of the new stuff, catch you up on the latest progress, and I’ll get some feedback from you for future projects. The link is available for you at the concert tab in the menu.
The February live event calendar is currently up to date, and hopefully I’ll get all the things that I currently have booked/planned for future months soon.

By the way, if you joined our Discord long ago and had any notifications set up (like before last year) and stopped using it or didn’t like it, I hope you’ll try again. I spent MASSIVE amounts of time improving our Discord server at the beginning of last year and it is significantly improved. That also means that it “overwrote” any roles/notifications, etc you had set up then, so if you’ve been wondering why it’s been quiet, it’s because we basically restarted from scratch.
